Introduction To Square Roller Linear Guides

Leave a message

Square roller linear guides are high-precision linear motion guide components that combine a square cross-section structure with rollers as rolling elements. They are mainly used in industrial applications requiring high rigidity, high load-bearing capacity, and high stability.

"Square": The cross-section of the guide is rectangular or approximately square, unlike circular guides (such as round shafts + linear bearings). The square structure offers advantages such as balanced force distribution on all four sides, strong torsional resistance, and multiple mounting reference surfaces.

"Roller Type": This refers to the use of cylindrical rollers (instead of balls) as rolling elements. Loads are borne through line contact, resulting in higher load capacity, higher rigidity, and longer lifespan (especially under heavy loads) compared to the point contact of balls.
