The Hualong HQG square miniature ball linear guide is specially designed for heavy duty loading scenarios, retaining the compact shape of the guide while constructing a highly stable load bearing platform.

Load and Lifespan (L)
In the selection stage of linear guides, it is necessary to combine the layout of the equipment structure and external stress conditions, and through engineering stress calculations, separate the actual loads that each slider in the equipment can bear individually. Compare the calculation results with the basic static rated load C0 and allowable static torque Mx/My/Mz of the slider to calculate the static safety factor fs, in order to determine whether the equipment is safe and reliable. To address the wear issue caused by long term reciprocating operation, the actual operational stroke life of the linear guide is calculated based on the basic dynamic rated load C.

Basic Static Rated Load (C0)
During the stationary or low speed operation of the guide rail, if it is subjected to excessive load or impact, the track grooves and steel balls will undergo permanent deformation. The industry's unified judgment standard is that when the total permanent deformation of the contact surface accumulates to 1/10000 of the diameter of the steel ball, the linear guide will run stuck and cannot continue to work normally; The critical ultimate load is the basic static rated load C0 of this guide rail.

Basic Dynamic Rated Load (C)
The dynamic rated load refers to the basic dynamic rated load C of the same specification batch of ball bearing linear guides. After running 50 kilometers on a linear guide with steel balls as the rolling component, if 90% of the samples have no fatigue peeling or pitting damage on the ball groove raceway and steel ball surface, the constant radial load applied at this time is determined as the basic dynamic rated load C of the guide rail. Linear Guide Bearing selection process
When selecting a linear guide rail, the first step is to sort out the actual operating conditions on site, determine the specific model and size of the guide rail, calculate the actual load bearing capacity and complete the equivalent load conversion, and verify whether the static safety factor meets the design requirements. If the static strength margin is insufficient, it is necessary to return to adjusting the guide rail specifications or optimizing the installation and usage plan.
After the static strength is qualified, continue to calculate the average load and theoretical rated life, and then compare it with the service life required by the equipment design; If the lifespan does not meet the design standards, it will also be returned to the previous stage for re selection. After all indicators have been verified, matching accessories will be selected to complete the entire set of guide rail selection and verification work.

How does HQG bearing seat handle cantilever load?
The four columns of steel balls inside the HQG slider are symmetrically arranged along the square slider body in a Gothic arch structure. Under the cantilever load, the balls in the upper row of the two rows bear tension, while the steel balls in the lower row are compressed, forming a force couple that resists pitch rotation and can effectively counteract the pitch deflection moment caused by the load;
The conventional narrow width micro guide rail relies only on two rows of ball bearings, which means that the restoring force arm is limited to the center to center spacing of these rows. The HQG slider disperses four rows of steel balls, expanding the effective force width to 8-12mm, almost doubling the force arm. If a bracket is used for external installation of cameras, detection sensors, and other components during equipment design, compared to sliding guide rails of the same size, this structural advantage can directly reduce the offset of tool points by 40% to 60%.

In terms of usage
1. Do not disassemble the various parts of the guide rail without authorization, otherwise it may cause foreign objects to enter, affecting accuracy and shortening service life.

2. Please pay attention to preventing the entry of foreign objects, chips, and other foreign objects. Otherwise, it may lead to damage to the steel ball circulation components or functional impairment.

3. Please avoid using under conditions exceeding 80 °C. When using at temperatures exceeding 80 °C, please consult our technical personnel.



Lubrication aspect
Linear guides undergo rust prevention treatment before leaving the factory, so please clean the rust prevention oil before use and immediately add lubricating oil. Failure to add lubricating oil will cause the product to rust.
In order to fully utilize the function of linear guides, sufficient lubrication is necessary. Insufficient lubrication will increase wear and shorten the service life.
Regarding product storage
Linear motion products should be stored flat, avoiding high temperature, humid environments, and avoiding heavy pressure or irregular pushing.
